Environmental Occupations by Mark Dorf

Mark’s project Environmental Occupations is extremely intriguing and fantastically realized. This series confronts the multi-dimensional and highly respected human ability of creation, but goes further into the consequential aspects of this ability.

The odd impression  created by these blocks of concrete, in contrast to their natural environments, depicts the disconnect we’re faced with when staring at our massive urban worlds. The association between a specific creator and the objects is lost, leaving only the devastating and useless effect of these creations.

You’ll get a much better idea of what Mark is getting at by reading his statement.
