Some of you might have glimpsed at Eric Shaw’s wonderful work on other blogs – unlike myself whose mind only recently got blown.
Looking at Eric’s work has added a whole new dimension to the way I think of gouache painting. The patterns and shapes, especially found in his most recent paintings, somehow hit a particular spot between experimental graphic design and psychedelic painting.
I’m also trying to find the connection with Eric’s fondness of smoking through a zucchini – he’s definitely onto something there…
