Here are some fantastic shots from photographer Haley Jane Samuelson for her series The Indecisive Moment. This series has a very interesting concept, worked out in collaboration with professional dancers.
“The photographs from “An Indecisive Moment” attempt to locate the specific rhythm and buried consciousness of a particular moment in time, and work to communicate the feminine experience on the threshold of adulthood. Working with dancers from the major New York Dance Companies, the work is largely concerned with the meaning and existence of womanhood in today’s unstable, fragmented world…”
Have a look at the rest here. Haley’s work is on exhibition in the Hous Projects Gallery in NYC until the May 8th.
A few beautiful portrait photographs by Lydia Greenaway. I like the green and nature-based backgrounds she shoots in, especially since her female models have a quite a glamorous allure; it gives an interesting contrast between subject/background.
Chelak’s square format photography is stunning. This series of pictures of different body parts is particularly beautiful, and sensual.
I found Tania’s and Roman’s (update: all these pictures were taken by Tania and her bf Roman) work while going through Bennie’s great selection of photography over on Square and Circle. I think if I could I would just put up all of their work. She uses different models, in different settings, and adds loads more diversity in all her pictures. Great work
