Monochrome Monday with Alex Veledzimovich

This Monday I bring you Alex Veledzimovich’s beautiful black and white photography. There’s a deep melancholy flowing through Alex’s portraits, his subjects seem to be sincerely concerned with something that we’ll never find out about. One thing’s for sure, this photographer knows how to capture sharp, poignant images of human vulnerability.

We’re partnering up with HUH Mag to organize a sweet give-away over the course of this week, stay tuned !

Monochrome Monday by Lars Venner

I had a hard time figuring out my take on Lars’ photography. After a first look at his photostream, I was convinced this was bizarre but great stuff. I’m still convinced of this. But now I realized Lars is very versatile with his imagery- you’ll find he does some simple fashion shots, but also takes nicely experimental shots.

But since today is Monday my dears, I’ve selected some of Lars’ finest black and white photography. Whatever you’ll be doing this week, I’m sure this Norwegian photographer’s work will affect it.

Jared Tarbell

Honestly, I’m completely blown away by the visual impact of Jared’s work. I’ve never encountered this type of work, Jared uses his computing skills as a programmer to create these fantastic images.

As he says:

“With an algorithmic goal in mind, I manipulate the work by finely crafting the semantics of each program. Specific results are pursued, although occasionally surprising discoveries are made.”

All I know is that I easily get lost in the infinite beauty of these works.
