I love these photos by Yann Faucher. Yann captures human fragility in every picture – and it’s a nice change to have a few guys in pictures as well. In fact, Yann seems to have a more masculine focused photography since the last time we featured him – while keeping a great consistency in style.
As one of the oldest Flickr contacts I’ve been following, and one of the first photographers to be featured on this blog – I can tell you it’s extremely rare for me to have come across such flawless work from anyone else. In the domain of nudes and portraits especially, Hannes Caspar captures dark lush tones while keeping a sharp focus on stunning details.
Back in 2009 when I first featured Hannes, I also praised the city he lives in: Berlin. In that sense this is also a timely feature, since I’m currently making arrangements to settle there for while – lift off in 10 days :)

These portraits by Christopher Perez are absolutely phenomenal. I’m entranced by the texture of the photographs, it’s as if they were taken through a thick piece of glass (which technically is the case) and then the corners got melted off.
Christopher shoots lots of different kinds of people, but they all have the most stirring and piercing look in their eyes…
