Beautiful and intimate travel photography by Taiwanese photographer Pahud Hsieh.
I went through Sophie Van Der Perre’s wonderful photostream for the first time in a long time (her last feature here was back in 2010), and collected some of her striking monochrome portraits.

It’s a rare thing to find a designer/photographer whose work reflects a particular aesthetic regardless of the medium. Many portfolios lean more towards one medium or another, and one’s area of comfort seems to be reflected in that lean.
Regarding Anthony Gerace’s work however, I found the beautifully delicate and finely composed aesthetic of his photography to be smoothly reflected in his other design work, like his posters or his collages.
For a nice start of the week I’d like to introduce Zach McCaffree – a mostly film-based photographer who captures nice outdoor portraits or nice-looking ladies.

LA-based photographer Ye Rin Mok has an amazing eye for composition in her portraits. Her way of capturing shapes, lines and other abstract elements creates a beautiful visual coherence.

I love the work Mark Peckmezian does – going through his portfolio is like browsing through someone’s vinyl collection, except they actually made all the records. His photographs come in all shapes and sizes, giving his work a much rougher and honest life in contrast to a lot of the pristine and automatized digital work out there.
