Swedish photographer Viktor Gårdsäter captures striking moments of human movements. I love the emphasis on frozen time found in his shots, like people flying through the air before splashing in a lake, or ballet dancers in mid-movement, or even the majestic Win Butler from Arcade Fire as he swings his guitar with the rhythm.
Viktor’s photography is very, very captivating. Over the recent months I’ve been trying to decrease the amount of post-processing in my pictures. But I find Viktor’s way of editing his photography particularly nice. He gives it a melancholic feel which, combined with his spontaneity and composition skills, gives amazing results.
